It's not the first time Catholic leaders have complained about Catholic feasts being hijacked by society. We have lost the meaning of "Holy Day" and allowed it be transformed into a "Holiday". We continue to wrestle with our Catholic brethren over the shopping "Madness" that goes on during this special season. So we challenge youth and young adult leaders to learn about the feast of St. Valentine. Together, we can help educate our groups, Religious Education classes, and parishes about the importance of this feast day.
